Mike served as the President of the UC Retirees Association Board from July 2019 - June 2022. He is a proud UC Davis alum earning his degree in Ag Business Management and Economics. Mike served the campus as the Fire Chief from 1996 to 2004, followed by service as the Yoce Deche Fire Chief from 2004 to 2012. He has also been active in his community, serving as president of the Woodland Noon Rotary and chair of the Woodland Healthcare Foundation, Board of Trustees. 

Mike says that before COVID, he and his wife would cruise two times a year. He hopes to return to the ocean adventures once it is safe to do so.
