Letter to UCDRA from John Meyer
Dear Colleagues,
I am writing you with another update regarding the Retiree Health Benefits Design Working Group established by President Napolitano. As you may recall, I serve as the CUCRA representative to this group and Roger Anderson represents the Council of UC Emeriti Associations. Thus far, many of the materials provided to the Working Group have been marked "confidential - attorney client work product" and cannot be shared beyond the committee. I believe a reason for this is that UCOP is modeling various scenarios and would like the Working Group's reaction and to narrow alternatives before they are more widely shared. After much discussion, the charter for the group has been released for broader audiences and may be found at UC Health Benefits Design Working Group Charter.
